• What’s involved:
As a member of a team you will advise and assist persons referred to the Division as homeless or inappropriately housed where vulnerability is due to mental ill health, a learning disability, alcohol/substance addiction, physical impairment or other special need.
You will liase with and co-ordinate the services and resources of Social Services and Housing colleagues, Housing Associations, other housing providers and the Health Authority to enable an assessment of housing need and capabilities.
You will provide support throughout the housing process in obtaining and settling into suitable independent tenancies or appropriate designated supported schemes where necessary to become established safely in the community.
You will offer support to clients allocated emergency temporary accommodation whilst they wait the outcome of their homeless applications and housing.
