Job Description

The primary function of this role is to provide an efficient clearing processing and settlement service, ensuring at all times that the clearing processes are carried out in accordance with internal procedures and exchange rules and regulations. Duties will include overseeing the day to day activities to ensure efficient operation, including: Trade Registration, Trade Reconciliation, Netting, Account Reconciliation, Settlements (monitoring cash/stock accounts, splitting, fails monitoring), Corporate Event processing, Incident Reporting, MIS reporting and Testing. To be considered you will need management experience within Investment Banking operations and have a good understanding of a wide range of Commodities and Derivative instruments. You will need be hands on as this will be working a smaller organisation, so some activities will include monitoring and ensuring the timely settlement of derivative contracts, trade matching, reconciliation of trades, whilst ensuring Incidents are raised/closed in a timely manner. You will also need to be fully conversant with and be able to operate internal and external systems demonstrating thorough knowledge of the systems and reports generated. You will be required to complete daily and monthly statistical reports, and participate in UAT testing as required along with producing User Acceptance Testing test scripts.
