Job Description
Prime Brokerage incorporates the full range of \"flow\" traded products across equities and basic derivatives and an opportunity has arisen for a senior product controller to undertake a management position within this growing brokerage firm.
The role will involve supervising and managing a small team responsible for daily product control duties, namely:
Production of daily PB P&L
Production of monthly PB P&L
Balance Sheet Reconciliations
Your role will involve ensuring the correct accounting treatment is utlised across the range of products covered. The appropriate systems and processes are in place to capture the required information and where necessary, get involved in improving these systems and processes.
You will ideally have previous supervisory experience, be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with no less than three years PQE and a minimum of 3 years previous product control experience. You have demonstrable knowledge across a range of assets and asset classes including: Futures, Options and Cash Equities (with CFDs, Stock Loan and Equity Swaps being particularly useful).
