Job Description

My client, a global company with a local network of representatives serving their customers in over 50 countries throughout North and South America, Europe, Oceania, Asia, the Middle East and Africa require an International Marketing Assistant to join their friendly and forward thinking Marketing Team based in their UK Head Office in Whitstable, Kent.

A fluent knowledge of a European Language ie. Spanish, French, German is desirable for this excellent opportunity.

Reporting to the International Marketing Supervisor, you will be responsible for implementing marketing activities and providing marketing administrative support. You will initially assist in, but develop to become specifically responsible for implementing marketing campaigns.

Advertisement & campaigns

• €¢ To assist with implementing advertising programmes, events, PR and online marketing.

• €¢ To work with the International Marketing Supervisor to implement marketing strategies and create effective promotional material

• €¢ To assist in maintaining and updating the website and undertake related online activities, including co-ordinating promotion and site optimization. Analyzing site’s statistics and making appropriate recommendations.

• €¢ To co-ordinate all online and press advertisement

Translation and International Communication

• €¢ To translate international marketing documents

• €¢ To improve the Public Relations and to liaise with all actors of Marketing Departments when required

Marketing Intelligence

• €¢ To take briefs and to produce researches for the Sales Team when required

• €¢ To help identify trends, customer’s habits and competitors’ activities by undertaking extensive researches and analysis

• €¢ To review magazines and prepare press reviews for the sales department

Creative Briefs

• €¢ Taking briefs, participating in brain storms, preparing creative marketing campaigns, helping in their implementation

Project Management

• €¢ To help generating and implementing new procedures within the marketing department

• €¢ To assist with various admin tasks and provide assistance to the Marketing team should it be required. You may undertake other tasks and marketing activities as directed by the marketing supervisor.
