The centre is part of London\'s most prestigious hospitals which pride themselves on staff development with second to none training & development to progress with Oncology. Oncology Nurses & Specialist Nurses in oncology are extremely sort after, therefore this is a fanatic opportunity for you to specialise within this area of nursing as the Hospital has its own Clinical Education Centre dedicated to offering their staff with clinical education and training for continuous professional development.This is an exceptional opportunity to bring your experience, knowledge & ideas in Oncology forward & have a greater input on how the centre is run. Candidate Requirements:•A minimum of 3 years working in an Oncology area•3 years experience of administering cytotoxic drugs•At least 12 months experience of managing people/departmentKnowledge:•To be up to date with current developments in cancer and palliative care nursing•To have knowledge of evidence based nursing and professional issues.•To be aware of current political nursing agendas.•To have sound understanding of clinical governance and audit.•To have up to date knowledge of current chemotherapy protocols and drugs•Phlebotomy and cannulation skills•Excellent communication and inter personal skills•Leadership and organisational skills•To have the knowledge and ability to administer intravenous cytotoxic drugsQualifications:•RN•ENB 237 or equivalent•ENB 998 or equivalentIf you would like to know more about this position then please feel free to contact Priya in confidence or send your CV.
